This year the European Ombudsman started an Inquiry concerning the harbor of Granadilla. But in the first days of November he closed the case. We are now waiting for a decision of the Commission
with poor hope.

years the citizens of Canaries, and specially here in Tenerife, have technical and contrasted information about the inconvenience of this project, the fatal consequences and new solutions (the project of Santa Cruz
port). More than 56 thousand people supported a Citizen’s Legislative Initiative to protect the Coast of Granadilla. And so many other things that have been done by thousands of people....”

The protesters against the project will do a mass rally on November 18th 2006.
